Springfield, MA – On Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, the Boys & Girls Club Family Center will welcome the Springfield community for its annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, held in the gymnasium at 100 Acorn Street. This beloved event is free and open to the public, aiming to bring residents together to celebrate the spirit of the season.

Now in his eighth year as Executive Director, Keshawn Dodds is proud to continue this meaningful tradition, which brings the Springfield community together at the start of the holiday season. Local organizations have joined forces to support the event, including American International College, which is providing several healthy side dishes, and local businesses that have contributed funds to purchase turkeys.

“This is our eighth year hosting this dinner, and it truly gets better each time,” said Dodds. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for members of our community to come together, share stories, and connect like family. We’re thrilled to host this event and offer everyone a chance to enjoy a warm meal and good company.”

The Family Center and its dedicated volunteers are prepared to serve more than 400 guests, ensuring a memorable holiday gathering for all.
