SPRINGFIELD, MA – On Saturday, September 16, 2023, the Boys & Girls Club Family Center will be hosting the annual National Day For Kids event. The event will take place on location at 100 Acorn Street, Springfield, MA. This event is free and open to the public.

Every year, the Boys & Girls Club Family Center joins all clubs across the country during the national Day For Kids event. The Family Center staff will host its event outside in their parking lot and field. There will be games, music, food, and more for the kids and families in the community to enjoy. “It’s always an amazing time for our kids and our community to come together,” Keshawn Dodds, the Executive Director stated. “It’s a great time and we have so much fun in the process.”

“We work closely with our local police, and fire department as well as our other city employees,” Raeven Jemeson, the Program Director said. “Our members and the kids in the community get to see professionals taking the time out of their weekend to hang with them and enjoy the atmosphere. We’re glad to have these types of relationships.”

The Day For Kids event will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2023, between the hours of 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm. All activities will take place in the parking lot of the Boys & Girls Club Family Center, located at 100 Acorn Street, Springfield, MA 01109. This event is free and open to the public.
