SPRINGFIELD, MA – Art for the Soul Gallery is currently hosting an exhibition of newly created Museum works by internationally acclaimed textile artist Ed Johnetta Miller. The exhibition is on display until March 26, 2022, at Tower Square’s Art for the Soul Gallery located at 1500 Main Street, Springfield MA.

In conjunction with this exhibit, the gallery will be hosting the following events, led by Miller:

Share the Love of Quilting – February 19 from 1-3 pm (snow date: February 26).

Quilting from its beginnings was a social art that brought women together to share one another’s company while combining their creative energies. In that spirit, join us for a quilt-sharing day! Bring family quilts, or quilts you have made to share your stories.

Ed Johnetta Miller will be showing quilts from her private collection including a Gees Bend Quilt from Polly Raymond, one of the original members of the Alabama Freedom Quilters, Antique Quilt from 1890, and a Tabacco Pouch Quilt from Genuine Durham Smoking Co. This event is free and open to the public.
