In this bizarro world parents who speak out about what their children are learning are investigated by the Dept of Justice and People who attempt to burn down precincts or federal court houses are bailed out by politicians.
In this Bizzaro world District Attorneys target law abiding citizens and give bail to people arrested for violent crimes . Where peaceful protestors are considered terrorist and treated as such while protests that erupt into violence, injuries and destruction of property are excused as justified. The cause or belief maybe justified , but if death and destruction are justified then it should be for your opposition for a cause they hold dear.
In a place where you may not agree with its policies , practices or principles you have a right granted to you to assemble , speak out against it and have your voice heard . There are places in the world where you can not protest verbally let alone physically and some of us reading this embrace some of the ideologies of these places that dissent and protest would find you jailed or worse . Could you protest police brutality in a communist or socialist regime ? Inequality ? Racism?
Hypocrisy abounds and depending on your political leanings you’ll ok January 6 or the protests over the last year. Lack of knowledge and unwillingness to research and media spin subject us to narratives that may not be true and we angrily debate what we have no knowledge of except what we heard on the world news.
In this Bizarro world up is down and in is out and chaos is the rule of law. I’m not asking you to choose a side . I’m asking you to choose truth . To Choose right regardless of what side it’s on. We are at a dangerous time in history where new norms are being proposed and accepted ignorantly.
I urge you to choose right based on right not party.
